CPD on use of modern diagnostic imaging techniques in health management of sheep
The past days 24th, 25th and 26th of January 2018, the CPD on the use of modern diagnostic imaging techniques in health management of sheep was held in the training centre located in the Veterinary Faculty of Zaragoza, Spain, with the presence of 26 attendants, of which 6 were residents of our college and one diplomate. The rest of the attendants came from Greece, Chypre and Rumania and we have a great attendance from Spain, thanks to the support of the Spanish society for sheep and goat production (SEOC) that paid them half of the registration.
We would like to thank all the lectures that selflessly honoured us with their knowledge, in both theoretical and practical way. George Fthenakis, Phil Scott, Pablo Gómez, Mariana Barbargianni, Nona Guletsou, Katerina Ioannidi, Irene Valasi, Luis Miguel Ferrer, Enrique Castells, Severiano Silva, Marcelo de las Heras and Isabel Muñoz. All they offer us updated information in diagnostic imaging techniques applied to sheep.
Furthermore, show our gratitude to the sponsors of the CPD: ESAOTE, Casa de Ganaderos, HUMECO and the professional colleges of Huesca, Zaragoza and Teruel, and, finally, we would like to thank Juanjo Ramos, Calasanz Jiménez, Fran Saura and the students of the internship in ruminants of our Faculty for their invaluable collaboration.
This has been a great course thanks to the participation of speakers and attendants coming from different places in Europe. As important as acquiring knowledge is to share experiences and information with veterinarians of small ruminants from different parts of the world.
Thank you everybody for coming to join us.
